A Journey from Mashhad to Miss Earth

The Miss Iran Organization continued its tradition of hosting a fully digital national competition in 2021, attracting a large number of applicants from across the global Iranian community. As in previous years, the selection process emphasized both presentation and substance. Candidates were evaluated based on the quality of their written introductions, professional photographs, and overall presentation, all of which were published on Instagram for public viewing.

From this competitive pool, ten finalists were shortlisted before the organization’s professional judging panel made its final decision. The title of Miss Iran 2021 was awarded to Dr. Hima Zaker, who also made history by becoming the first representative to hold the title of Miss Earth Iran. Following her selection, she participated in an official photoshoot, and her victory was formally announced across major digital platforms, including Facebook, Instagram, and the organization’s official website.

In the same year, Parastoo Moeini, born in Arak in 2002, was crowned Miss Teen Iran 2021. She completed professional preparations for international competition; however, due to personal reasons, she chose not to participate on the global stage.

Born in 1994 in Mashhad, Dr. Hima Zaker represents a modern blend of academic excellence, cultural awareness, and artistic expression. She graduated cum laude in veterinary medicine and has since built a career as a veterinarian while also pursuing modeling. In addition to her native language, she is fluent in English and German and has working knowledge of Kurdish and Turkish, reflecting her strong commitment to communication and global engagement.

Her interests extend across a wide range of physical and creative disciplines. While swimming remains her primary passion, she has actively engaged in sports such as tennis, ice skating, aerial dance, gymnastics, and mountaineering. Outside of athletics, she enjoys cinema, music, and exploring nature. Notably, she is also a vocalist with a preference for rock music, demonstrating her artistic versatility.

Beyond her professional and personal pursuits, Dr. Zaker is deeply committed to environmental awareness and animal rights—causes closely aligned with her academic background. She emphasizes the importance of increasing opportunities for women’s contributions to society and raising awareness of environmental challenges in Iran, aiming to highlight both issues on a global platform while showcasing the richness and potential of her country. Following her crowning as Miss Iran 2021, Dr. Hima Zaker relocated internationally, spending time in Istanbul and Dubai before eventually settling in Toronto, where she has continued her professional work as a veterinarian.

سفری از مشهد تا دختر زمین

سازمان میس ایران در سال ۱۴۰۰ سنت برگزاری رقابت ملی به‌صورت کاملاً دیجیتال را ادامه داد و شمار زیادی از متقاضیان از سراسر جامعه ایرانیان جهان در آن شرکت کردند. همانند سال‌های گذشته، روند انتخاب بر ترکیبی از کیفیت ارائه و محتوای شرکت‌کنندگان تأکید داشت. داوطلبان بر اساس کیفیت متون معرفی، تصاویر حرفه‌ای و نحوه ارائه کلی ارزیابی شدند که تمامی این موارد برای مشاهده عمومی در اینستاگرام منتشر گردید.

از میان این رقابت گسترده، ده نفر به‌عنوان فینالیست برگزیده شدند و در نهایت هیئت داوران حرفه‌ای سازمان تصمیم نهایی را اتخاذ کرد. عنوان دوشیزه ایران ۱۴۰۰ به دکتر هیما ذاکر اعطا شد؛ او همچنین به‌عنوان نخستین نماینده‌ای که عنوان دوشیزه زمین ایران را کسب کرده، تاریخ‌ساز شد. پس از انتخاب، وی در یک جلسه عکاسی رسمی شرکت کرد و پیروزی او از طریق شبکه‌های اجتماعی از جمله فیس‌بوک، اینستاگرام و وب‌سایت رسمی سازمان اعلام شد.

در همان سال، پرستو معینی که در سال ۱۳۸۱ در اراک متولد شده است، به‌عنوان دوشیزه نوجوان ایران ۱۴۰۰ برگزیده شد. او آمادگی‌های حرفه‌ای برای حضور در رقابت‌های بین‌المللی را نیز طی کرد، اما به دلایل شخصی ترجیح داد در سطح جهانی شرکت نکند.

دکتر هیما ذاکر در سال ۱۳۷۳ در مشهد متولد شد و نمادی از تلفیق دانش دانشگاهی، آگاهی فرهنگی و بیان هنری است. او با درجه ممتاز در رشته دامپزشکی فارغ‌التحصیل شده و پس از آن به‌عنوان دامپزشک فعالیت حرفه‌ای خود را آغاز کرده و هم‌زمان در حوزه مدلینگ نیز فعالیت داشته است. وی علاوه بر زبان مادری، به زبان‌های انگلیسی و آلمانی تسلط دارد و با زبان‌های کردی و ترکی نیز آشنایی دارد که نشان‌دهنده توانایی بالای او در ارتباطات و تعاملات بین‌المللی است.

علایق او طیف گسترده‌ای از فعالیت‌های جسمانی و هنری را در بر می‌گیرد. شنا علاقه اصلی اوست، اما در ورزش‌هایی مانند تنیس، اسکیت روی یخ، رقص معلق، ژیمناستیک و کوهنوردی نیز تجربه دارد. در کنار فعالیت‌های ورزشی، به سینما، موسیقی و طبیعت‌گردی علاقه‌مند است. همچنین او خواننده است و بیشتر در سبک راک فعالیت می‌کند.

فراتر از فعالیت‌های حرفه‌ای و شخصی، دکتر ذاکر تعهد عمیقی به آگاهی زیست‌محیطی و حقوق حیوانات دارد؛ موضوعاتی که به‌طور مستقیم با پیشینه علمی او مرتبط هستند. او بر اهمیت افزایش فرصت‌های مشارکت زنان در جامعه و همچنین ضرورت توجه به چالش‌های زیست‌محیطی در ایران تأکید دارد و هدف او معرفی این مسائل در سطح جهانی و نشان دادن ظرفیت‌ها و زیبایی‌های ایران است.

پس از کسب عنوان دوشیزه ایران ۱۴۰۰، دکتر هیما ذاکر به‌صورت بین‌المللی جابه‌جا شد و مدتی در استانبول و دبی اقامت داشت و در نهایت در تورنتو ساکن شد و فعالیت حرفه‌ای خود را به‌عنوان دامپزشک ادامه داد.
