Similar to the years 2013 and 2014, the Miss Iran 2015 competition was held virtually, continuing a modern approach to showcasing Iranian beauty and talent worldwide. Among the top ten finalists—whose introduction articles and selected photographs were published across the official social media platforms of the Miss Iran Organization—Atefeh Eskandari was ultimately chosen by the judging panel as Miss Iran 2015.

The crowning moment was led by Shadi Osmani, who passed on the title to her successor. The event was artistically captured by Hamed Badiee, one of Iran’s most respected fashion and portrait photographers, who documented the symbolic crowning in Tehran.

Born in 1990 in Khuzestan, Atefeh Eskandari pursued a degree in civil engineering. Alongside her academic path, she nurtured a wide range of artistic interests, including music, singing, acting, modeling, and dance. Her motivation for participating in the competition was to enter the international fashion industry and establish herself as a global face, believing strongly in her own potential and qualifications.

Atefeh expressed a deep love for Iran and demonstrated a strong sense of patriotism, with a particular admiration for the country’s ancient culture and heritage. Although she aspired to build a professional career as an international model, she ultimately chose to remain in Iran after winning the title. Her emotional nature and close family ties played a significant role in this decision, as she valued living alongside her family and maintaining her roots within her homeland.
