A New Generation in a Time of Global Change

The Miss Iran 2020 competition marked another significant moment in the modern history of Iran’s pageant industry. While the global outbreak of COVID-19 disrupted traditional events worldwide and led many countries to adopt virtual formats for the first time, the Miss Iran organization had already established a strong foundation in online competition. Building on seven consecutive years of digital selection, the 2020 edition continued to engage a wide audience through its official website, Facebook, and Instagram platforms.

As in previous years, numerous young Iranian women applied to participate, and the top 10 finalists were officially announced across the organization’s media channels. Following a structured evaluation process, the judging panel selected Aida Mirahmadi as Miss Iran 2020. Nasrin Zadehbadragheh was named first runner-up and also received the title of Miss Globe Iran 2020, while Shima Noori was crowned Miss Teen Iran 2020. The results reflected both the diversity and the growing competitiveness of the pageant in its modern format.

Aida Mirahmadi was born in 2002 in Saqqez, Iran, and at the time of the competition was based in Bursa, Turkey. From an early age, she aspired to become a professional model and to represent herself on international stages. She was a student with a range of artistic talents, including drawing, dancing, and playing the guitar. She is multilingual, speaking Persian, Turkish, Kurdish, and English. Her interests also extend to sports such as swimming, cycling, and gymnastics, reflecting her active and disciplined lifestyle. Winning the Miss Iran title fulfilled a long-standing personal ambition, and she expressed her intention to use this platform to represent Iran professionally while inspiring other Iranian women.

Following her national win, Aida was also awarded the title of Miss Grand Iran 2020 and went on to represent Iran at the Miss Grand International 2020 pageant in Bangkok, Thailand. Her advocacy focused on freedom for Iranian women and raising awareness against violence and compulsory dress regulations. Although she did not place in the final rankings, her participation was considered a notable and meaningful presence within the international pageant community.

Aida later relocated to London, England, where she currently resides with her family while continuing her personal and professional development.

نسلی نو در دوران تحولات جهانی

مسابقه میس ایران ۱۳۹۹ نقطه عطف دیگری در تاریخ معاصر صنعت رقابت‌های زیبایی ایران به شمار می‌رود. در حالی که شیوع جهانی بیماری کرونا بسیاری از رویدادهای سنتی را در سراسر جهان متوقف کرد و کشورهای مختلف برای نخستین بار به سمت برگزاری مجازی حرکت کردند، سازمان میس ایران پیش از آن زیرساختی قدرتمند در این زمینه ایجاد کرده بود. با تکیه بر هفت سال برگزاری مستمر به‌صورت آنلاین، دوره ۱۳۹۹ نیز از طریق وب‌سایت رسمی، فیسبوک و اینستاگرام برگزار شد و توانست مخاطبان گسترده‌ای را جذب کند.

همانند سال‌های گذشته، تعداد زیادی از زنان جوان ایرانی در این رقابت ثبت‌نام کردند و در نهایت ۱۰ نفر برتر به عنوان فینالیست معرفی شدند. پس از طی مراحل ارزیابی، هیئت داوران آیدا میراحمدی را به عنوان میس ایران ۱۳۹۹ انتخاب کرد. نسرین زاده بدرقه به عنوان نفر اول نایب‌قهرمان معرفی شد و عنوان میس گلوب ایران ۱۳۹۹ را نیز دریافت کرد و شیما نوری به عنوان میس نوجوان ایران ۱۳۹۹ تاج‌گذاری شد. این نتایج نشان‌دهنده تنوع و رشد سطح رقابت در این دوره بود.

آیدا میراحمدی در سال ۱۳۸۱ در سقز، ایران متولد شد و در زمان برگزاری مسابقه در شهر بورسا، ترکیه زندگی می‌کرد. او از سنین پایین رویای تبدیل شدن به یک مدل حرفه‌ای و حضور در صحنه‌های بین‌المللی را در سر داشت. او دانشجو بوده و دارای استعدادهای هنری متعددی از جمله نقاشی، رقص و نوازندگی گیتار است. همچنین به چهار زبان فارسی، ترکی، کردی و انگلیسی تسلط دارد. علایق ورزشی او شامل شنا، دوچرخه‌سواری و ژیمناستیک است که نشان‌دهنده سبک زندگی فعال و منظم او می‌باشد. کسب عنوان میس ایران برای او تحقق یک رؤیای دیرینه بود و او اعلام کرده است که قصد دارد از این جایگاه برای معرفی حرفه‌ای ایران و الهام‌بخشی به زنان ایرانی استفاده کند.

پس از کسب عنوان ملی، آیدا میراحمدی به عنوان میس گرند ایران ۱۳۹۹ نیز انتخاب شد و در رقابت‌های بین‌المللی میس گرند همان سال در بانکوک تایلند شرکت کرد. محور فعالیت اجتماعی او حمایت از آزادی زنان ایرانی و افزایش آگاهی در برابر خشونت و قوانین اجباری پوشش بود. اگرچه او موفق به کسب رتبه‌ای در این رقابت نشد، اما حضور او به عنوان نماینده ایران، لحظه‌ای قابل توجه در عرصه رقابت‌های بین‌المللی محسوب شد.

آیدا پس از آن به لندن، انگلستان نقل مکان کرد و در حال حاضر به همراه خانواده خود در آنجا زندگی می‌کند و به مسیر رشد فردی و حرفه‌ای خود ادامه می‌دهد.
