Fourth Titleholder of the Modern Era of Miss Iran

As noted earlier, the official Iranian pageant, Miss Iran, was re-established in 2013 by Mr. George Clooney under the direction of the IMAJH Organization. Following the reigns of Mandana Yavar (Miss Iran 2013), Shadi Osmani (Miss Iran 2014), and Atefeh Eskandari (Miss Iran 2015), the judging panel selected Sonia Beytoushi as Miss Iran 2016, making her the fourth titleholder in the renewed era of the annual national pageant.

Sonia Beytoushi was born in 1995 in Mahabad, Iran. She graduated in Information Technology from the University of Tehran. Professionally, she is a fashion designer and founder of her own brand, Zappidoll. At the time of her selection, she had participated in over 150 modeling projects and had also gained experience in acting. In addition, she authored a book, which she dedicated to the Narges Disability Charity. She has also shown interest in music and occasionally performs as a singer. Her personal interests include yoga and fitness, while her primary focus has remained fashion design and modeling.

Throughout her career, she has been associated with various publications and collaborations, including Switzerland 360, Vogue Italy, Flawless Magazine, DW Germany, and Voice of America.

Sonia entered the Miss Iran competition with the intention of showcasing both the inner and outer beauty of Iranian women. She has expressed the view that the Miss Iran platform can support greater freedom for women and contribute to building a stronger future generation. Following her selection as Miss Iran, she gained a substantial social media following and became active within the Iranian fashion industry as a recognized model.

After her reign, her career path became more complex. Reports indicate that she faced legal challenges upon returning to Iran and subsequently left the country. She later relocated to Erbil, Iraq, where she continued her work in fashion and modeling while maintaining her Kurdish language and regional connections. During this period, she was also linked to potential participation in international pageants representing either Iran or Iraq; however, she ultimately did not compete.

She is currently based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, where she continues her career in fashion and modeling.

چهارمین دارنده عنوان در دوره جدید میس ایران

همان‌طور که پیش‌تر اشاره شد، مسابقه رسمی ایران، میس ایران، در سال ۱۳۹۲ توسط آقای جرج کلونی و تحت مدیریت سازمان ایماژ بازراه‌اندازی شد. پس از دوران سلطنت ماندانا یاور (میس ایران ۱۳۹۳)، شادی عثمانی (میس ایران ۱۳۹۴) و عاطفه اسکندری (میس ایران ۱۳۹۵)، هیئت داوران سونیا بیطوشی را به عنوان میس ایران ۱۳۹۶ انتخاب کرد و او را به چهارمین دارنده این عنوان در دوره جدید این رقابت ملی سالانه تبدیل نمود.

سونیا بیطوشی در سال ۱۳۷۴ در مهاباد، ایران متولد شد. او فارغ‌التحصیل رشته فناوری اطلاعات از دانشگاه تهران است. از نظر حرفه‌ای، او طراح مد و بنیان‌گذار برند شخصی خود با نام زاپیدول است. در زمان انتخابش، او در بیش از ۱۵۰ پروژه مدلینگ شرکت کرده بود و همچنین تجربه بازیگری داشت. علاوه بر این، او یک کتاب تألیف کرد که آن را به مؤسسه خیریه نرگس اهدا نمود. او همچنین به موسیقی علاقه‌مند است و گاهی به عنوان خواننده فعالیت می‌کند. از علایق شخصی او می‌توان به یوگا و تناسب اندام اشاره کرد، اما تمرکز اصلی او همواره بر طراحی مد و مدلینگ بوده است.

در طول فعالیت حرفه‌ای خود، او با مجموعه‌ها و نشریات مختلفی همکاری داشته است، از جمله سوئیس ۳۶۰، ووگ ایتالیا، فلاولس مجله، دویچه وله آلمان و صدای آمریکا.

سونیا با هدف نمایش زیبایی درونی و بیرونی زنان ایرانی وارد رقابت میس ایران شد. او معتقد است که این رقابت می‌تواند آزادی بیشتری برای زنان فراهم کند و به ساخت نسل قوی‌تری در آینده کمک نماید. پس از کسب عنوان میس ایران، او به دنبال‌کننده‌های قابل توجهی در شبکه‌های اجتماعی دست یافت و به عنوان یک مدل شناخته‌شده در صنعت مد ایران به فعالیت خود ادامه داد.

پس از دوران عنوان‌داری، مسیر حرفه‌ای او پیچیده‌تر شد. گزارش‌ها حاکی از آن است که او پس از بازگشت به ایران با مشکلات حقوقی مواجه شد و سپس کشور را ترک کرد. او بعداً به اربیل در عراق نقل مکان کرد و در آنجا به فعالیت خود در زمینه مد و مدلینگ ادامه داد و ارتباط خود را با زبان کردی و منطقه حفظ نمود. در این دوره، او همچنین با احتمال حضور در مسابقات بین‌المللی به نمایندگی از ایران یا عراق مرتبط شد، اما در نهایت در این رقابت‌ها شرکت نکرد.

او در حال حاضر در دبی، امارات متحده عربی اقامت دارد و همچنان در زمینه مد و مدلینگ فعالیت می‌کند.
