The Final Crown of an Era

The Miss Iran 2022 competition marked the tenth anniversary of the modern pageant, organized under the direction of Mr. George Clooney at IMAJH Ltd., and stood as the closing chapter of an era in Iran’s contemporary pageant history. Over a decade, the platform evolved significantly, attracting a diverse range of participants and expanding its international presence. Following this milestone year, the organization transitioned into a new phase under the rebranded identity of “Queens of Persia.” This change reflected several key considerations. The term “Miss” traditionally refers to unmarried women, while modern pageant platforms have expanded to include participants of broader age groups and life backgrounds. Additionally, the name “Persia” carries a deep historical and cultural legacy spanning thousands of years, offering a more inclusive and representative identity beyond the modern political designation of Iran. As a result, the rebranding aimed to align the organization with evolving global standards and a broader cultural vision.

In line with the established format of the previous nine years, the competition continued to be conducted through digital platforms. The top 10 finalists were announced through the official Miss Iran website and social media channels, where their profiles and photographs were published. Following the evaluation process, the judging panel selected Mahrou Ahmadi as Miss Iran 2022. In the same year, Sevda Rasouli was crowned Miss Teen Iran 2022, and Sanaz Kazemi received the title of Mrs Iran 2022. Mahrou Ahmadi also went on to receive the title of Miss Earth Iran 2022, becoming the second representative from Iran in this category, and was selected to participate in the Miss Earth 2022 international competition, further extending Iran’s presence on the global stage.

Mahrou Ahmadi was born in 1998 in Iran and pursued her education in herbal medicine and medical sciences. From childhood, she showed a strong interest in healthcare and dreamed of helping patients. Today, she contributes to charitable initiatives supporting children with cancer in Iran and continues her academic journey in pharmacy at the University of Health Sciences in Istanbul. She is highly sociable and values communication with people of all ages and backgrounds, and she speaks Persian, Turkish, English, and Arabic.

In addition to her academic and humanitarian work, Mahrou has been active in the modeling industry since 2015 and considers it her primary passion. She is also engaged on social media, where she shares her personal style and perspectives. She places strong emphasis on physical and mental well-being, maintaining an active lifestyle through sports such as roller skating, basketball, swimming, ice skating, skiing, volleyball, water polo, and dance. Her appreciation for nature is reflected in her participation in environmental activities and her interest in using natural resources for medicinal purposes.

Mahrou is also artistically inclined, with interests in painting, music, cinema, piano, and fashion styling. She believes that true beauty goes beyond appearance, emphasizing the importance of character, intelligence, and inner health. Her personal philosophy highlights that confidence comes from self-acceptance rather than perfection. Having achieved her childhood dream of earning a national title, she aspires to use her platform to amplify her voice and inspire Iranian women, promoting unity, empowerment, and the pursuit of freedom and opportunity.

آخرین تاج یک دوره

مسابقه میس ایران ۱۴۰۱ دهمین سال برگزاری این رقابت در دوره جدید بود که تحت مدیریت آقای جرج کلونی در شرکت ایماژ برگزار شد و به عنوان پایان یک دوره مهم در تاریخ معاصر رقابت‌های زیبایی ایران شناخته می‌شود. طی این دهه، این مجموعه رشد قابل توجهی داشت و توانست شرکت‌کنندگان متنوعی را جذب کرده و حضور خود را در سطح بین‌المللی گسترش دهد. پس از این سال، این سازمان وارد مرحله‌ای جدید شد و با نام «کوئینز آو پرشیا» بازسازی و معرفی گردید. این تغییر نام به دلایل مختلفی انجام شد؛ از جمله اینکه واژه «میس» در زبان انگلیسی به زنان مجرد اشاره دارد، در حالی که در سال‌های اخیر دامنه سنی و شرایط شرکت‌کنندگان در رقابت‌های بین‌المللی گسترده‌تر شده است. همچنین نام «پرشیا» دارای پیشینه‌ای چند هزار ساله در تاریخ کهن و میانه است و می‌تواند نمایانگر هویتی گسترده‌تر و فراگیرتر از نام امروزی ایران باشد. به همین دلیل، این تغییر با هدف هم‌راستایی با استانداردهای جدید جهانی و ارائه هویتی فرهنگی گسترده‌تر انجام شد.

همانند ۹ سال گذشته، روند برگزاری مسابقه به‌صورت آنلاین ادامه یافت و ۱۰ نفر برتر از طریق وب‌سایت رسمی میس ایران و شبکه‌های اجتماعی معرفی شدند و مقاله‌ها و تصاویر آن‌ها منتشر شد. پس از بررسی‌های نهایی، هیئت داوران مهرو احمدی را به عنوان میس ایران ۱۴۰۱ انتخاب کرد. در همین سال، سودا رسولی به عنوان میس نوجوان ایران ۱۴۰۱ تاج‌گذاری شد و ساناز کاظمی عنوان خانم ایران ۱۴۰۱ را دریافت کرد. همچنین مهرو احمدی عنوان میس ارث ایران ۱۴۰۱ را نیز به دست آورد و به عنوان دومین نماینده ایران در این بخش، برای حضور در رقابت بین‌المللی میس ارث ۱۴۰۱ انتخاب شد و حضور ایران را در عرصه جهانی این رقابت‌ها ادامه داد.

مهرو احمدی در سال ۱۳۷۷ در ایران متولد شد و در رشته طب گیاهی و علوم پزشکی تحصیل کرده است. او از دوران کودکی علاقه‌مند به حوزه درمان بود و همواره آرزوی کمک به بیماران را در سر داشت. در حال حاضر، علاوه بر همکاری با مؤسسات خیریه مرتبط با کودکان مبتلا به سرطان در ایران، در رشته داروسازی در دانشگاه علوم سلامت استانبول مشغول به تحصیل است. او فردی اجتماعی است و ارتباط با افراد در هر سن و با هر پیشینه‌ای برایش ارزشمند است و به زبان‌های فارسی، ترکی، انگلیسی و عربی تسلط دارد.

در کنار فعالیت‌های علمی و اجتماعی، مهرو از سال ۱۳۹۴ وارد عرصه مدلینگ شد و این حوزه را علاقه اصلی خود می‌داند. او در شبکه‌های اجتماعی نیز فعال است و سبک زندگی و دیدگاه‌های خود را با مخاطبان به اشتراک می‌گذارد. او اهمیت ویژه‌ای برای سلامت جسم و ذهن قائل است و با فعالیت‌هایی مانند اسکیت، بسکتبال، شنا، اسکیت روی یخ، اسکی، والیبال، واترپلو و رقص، سبک زندگی فعالی را دنبال می‌کند. علاقه او به طبیعت نیز باعث شده در فعالیت‌های مرتبط با حفاظت از محیط‌زیست مشارکت داشته باشد و از منابع طبیعی برای اهداف درمانی بهره بگیرد.

مهرو همچنین روحیه‌ای هنری دارد و به نقاشی، موسیقی، سینما، نوازندگی پیانو و طراحی سبک‌های جدید علاقه‌مند است. او باور دارد که زیبایی واقعی فراتر از ظاهر است و بر اهمیت اخلاق، آگاهی و سلامت درونی تأکید می‌کند. از دیدگاه او، اعتمادبه‌نفس از پذیرش خود به دست می‌آید، نه از رسیدن به کمال ظاهری. او که به رؤیای کودکی خود دست یافته است، اکنون تلاش می‌کند از این جایگاه برای رساندن صدای خود به جهان و الهام‌بخشی به زنان ایرانی استفاده کند و بر اتحاد، پیشرفت و دستیابی به آزادی و فرصت‌های بیشتر تأکید دارد.
